So the Maelstrom is rather at a weird place. The bonuses the Vargur gains through being a Marauder are crucial to its strength though. Its slot layout is the same as the Vargur and thus one might think the Maelstrom might behave similarly but just scaled down to a T1 hull. The Maelstrom is the Minmatar T1 battleship with a tank bonus as such it has a bonus to shield boosters further it’s bonused for projectile turrets.
